Hello all,
Joined the forum today and actually figured out how to post an image. After a six-year hiatus from building armor(been working on model cars) have returned after acquiring the Tamiya 1/16 display-only Tiger 1. Magnificent.
Anyway, here's the original 30 year-old Tamiya Stug III made about 8 years ago with a 'few' corrections including On The Mark intake grills and hundreds of machined(by me) pieces(entire barrel assembly including muzzle-brake, extra road wheel mount, boxes, probably 200 hundred bolt heads, etc...) to replace the molded-on detail. Finished with oil-based paint and pastels. After all these corrections Tamiya issued their 'new and improved' Stug III within months of completing this model - of course!
Thank you,
Cody Grayland

Hi Stahlhelm. Welcome to the site. Your Stuh III and T-34 looks really nice. Great work. Good luck on your Tiger. Keep us posted on this one. I would imagine there are many on this site who would be looking forward to your thoughts on this particular kit and how it goes together.
Take care. Sgirty

Thanks guys.
Petro,
The Stug is the antique Tamiya 1/35 heavily reworked with multiple corrections. It still has vinyl treads as the model was constructed before Fruilmodellismo tracks were available.
