G'day all,
Can anyone out there advise me on the accuracy/inaccuracy of the Iterleri LAV - 25 turret? And if it is way out of scale where I can get hold of scale drawings?
Cheers Jason

I have heard that some of the angles are off. It looks pretty close to me. Here is a review of it. LAV-25 Review

Jason, this is a older post from this forum about the problems of the kit. Hope this helps.

Thanks very much to both of you. One thing that has got me thinking about this kit is the offset turret. The overhang of the turret ring in relation to the hull seems a bit off. Maybe its not quite far enough to the left. Well I will just have to do some more investigating.
Thanks again, Jason

Good luck fitting a crew member in the hatches as well. By this kit you'd think Marines were all super models....

Really and truely, the people you want to ask about the kit is either Sabot, Jacques, or possibly even Vodnik. I believe they know the kit pretty well.

Yes your right Porkchop, the hatch openings are a bit small. Most of the Marines Ive seen on exercise were big boys to. I have already started to open up the hatches a bit more so i can accmodate the crew (wearing vests). I just finished scratch building the link ejecting ports, blower fan and the torpedo/spent brass chute. As well as the Aust gun sights.
Hopefully this kit will look something like an ASLAV - 25 by the time its finished.
Cheers Jason
