Hi all, what do you think is the best M48A3 kit currently available?

Assuming you mean in 1:35, the Dragon kits are best by far. You still need to replace the gun mantlet, cupola mantlet, tracks, and roadwheels to get something accurate, but then you need to do that and a whole lot more to improve the old Tamiya and Academy kits. And you might get lucky and find the DS tracks are actually useable, but there are lots of complaints about them crumbling away due to poor batches of the DS plastic...

AFV Club’s M48/60 track is very nice and workable. Only downside is filling the sink marks.

Yes, I meant 1/35. Looking for AM tracks already... I still have a Tamiya in the stash, maybe I'll go with that one but will looking for the DML kit.
