I vividly remember (not that it is THAT long ago) that George Moore built his scratch built version). Oh man what a lovely (ungainly and perhaps dare I say ugly and also somewhat archaic looking vehicle). Personally I feel it is a absolute beauty!

The crane boom off the back definitely feels "Mad Max" to me but then I love wreckers. I'm seeking therapy on this.

Ordered it. It is expensive though. Still, such a cool model mastered by a gentleman, had to have it.

Pardon my ignorance but what is the time period of this vehicle?
I would suspect early WWII but it could be easily earlier or later in history?????

Produced from 1932 to somewhere around 1936.
The AEC 850 was most likely superseded in production by later models before the war started.
https://www.trucksplanet.com/catalog/model.php?id=536Don't know how many of these went to France with the BEF but I don't think any of them made it back home from Dunkirk ....
