Are the decals that come with Dragons M103A2 accurate? I can't find any that look like them in any pictures. I haven't sealed them yet so its not too late for me to remove them. I did order Archer Fine Transfer's Early Korea USMC non stenciled set because I wanted to put a D24 on the rear fender. Should I use them on the turret also. And I have other unit shields that came with a Star Decal set. Thanks for your help!

Looks like you can put those extra unit shields to good use - just add extra fuel cans.

Pavel did a complete rebuild of this a few years ago, and I'm sure we would all agree this kit missed the mark in many ways, but come on - they didn't even get the position of the turret lift rings right.

Yes, they are consistent with USMC markings at the time.

The shape of the turret call sign decals is not correct.

Take a read of my build of the Dragon M103A2 and you'll see how I corrected the markings. Go to Part 13 if you want details on the markings.

I have this decal set that I was going to use the unit shields on the fuel cans. Should I replace the ones currently on the air filter boxes with them also?

Thank you!!! This was the fist time that I ever used dry transfers. I failed the first time when I tried using the method that you used with just taping it into place and then transfering them. I ended up using the wet media paper to transfer them over. It was probably more work but they turned out better than I expected!

Looks good.

FYI, Woody @ Archer created some videos to help with using transfers.
