Hi Guys
Building stage complete. Italeri´s Chevy gun tractor and their 105mm. Nice kit, fit a bit suspect and instruction are a bit vague. Overall Im very happy with it though. It will be painted in canadian camo colours for Italy ´44. Sand with battleship grey camo. The 105mm is a US gun, but somehow the canadians ended up towing it. I guess I will finish it in US green and weather both the same for something different. I built the gun to go with my DUKW, but changed my mind as there was so many loading improbabilities.
Fear: Is the gun built in firing mode?? Somebody put me out of my misery!!

The 105 is kind of a nifty little build that is a dry brusher's dream come true with all the different surfaces and shapes. Cool underbelly on the Chev--I was surprised at the amount of detail.

Knowing the level of your modeling skills, this combination will be a great looking addition for shelf display. Going to put it on a little dio base of some sort???

The Italeri ( originally Peerless Max, then Airfix) CMP quad is a great model, you get the cab parts for a truck in the box as well, been the basis for most of my truck conversions.

Good looking build so far.
I have seen many pics of the truck, yet i never knew it was a chevy.
