Am enjoying a wonderful build of this kit. Question: on the rear interior of the superstructure there is what appear to be wood slats OR cushions that are listed in the instructions to be painted in khaki. My question is: are these woods slats or cushions?

I want to be sure I paint these right. Many thanks for any help on this question.

Looks like they are padded leather or canvas. Looks like snap fasteners at the top of each panel. Leather, I'd go with dark brown. Canvas ... Khaki or olive drab.

The Kagaro Top Shots book on the Su 76 has colour pics of a preserved vehicle in the Polish Armour Museum. Caveat on using any Museum vehicle as a reference, however:

is also reflective of the artwork Osprey's New Vanguard book:

If that padding (?) is covered with fabric, then like other items of equipment, the fabric could be made in differing colors, or shades.

I’d be a bit wary of the Dresden wagon, given that they painted the interior white. Looks as though they replaced the cushions too.

You can believe in reference from Museum in Poznań/ Poland.
This one su76m is original, served in 2nd Polish Army during wwII.
