From Sol, https://toylandhobbymodelingmagazine.press/2019/09/12/1-35-wwii-german-panther-dozer-detailup-mm316-solresinfactory-solmodel-1-35-militaryminiatures-ww2-panther-dozer/. The tragedy here is that I don’t have a Panther in the stash! How can that be! But thank you Sol, nonetheless.

Surprisingly, this is the third iteration of the conversion. Why haven’t I see this earlier?

Very interesting mod. I don't recall ever seeing a picture of this configuration in any of my reference books. Would make more sense to have this installed on a Bergepanther.

Agreed, I haven’t seen this anywhere. It could be post-war, i.e. reconstruction work. The absence of the barrel suggests that it is not an assault pioneer adaptation.

After some more research I have found a reference image (link below) of this variant captioned “[Post-War] Panther Ausf D Modified for Rubble Clearage”. I’m not sure that ”clearage” is a word, but it conveys the application of the hull depicted in the kit.

It was designed Ramschaufelpanzer Panther. It appears to be just one in May 44. Seems the PIII/IV hulls where more the intent.

A nice build here

Honestly it looks like an ideal commuting vehicle. Even without the gun.

Panther returned to the MAN plant in Nurnberg that was build by the staff to clear rubble in the city

There is also a picture of a Stug III converted out there

I’ve seen a Stug IV, and would be interested in seeing the III with a dozer blade! Do you have an image, please?
