Bringing Big History to Life, in a Small Way.
By Jerry Rutman.
Sorry man, it just does that sometimes!

Jerry this just gets more interesting each posting you share. I greatly appreciate the WIP shots, but the semi-complete group shots are actually outstanding in their own right.

Cheers to another wonderful day-trip back in time. Most impressive!
Regards Dave

Your depiction of a hedgerow is absolutely spot-on...incredibly good work!

The flowers add a nice little touch.

What did you use for the hedge foliage and the flowers? Looks amazing.10 out of 10.

Bill,Sean,Cheyenne and Mike Thanks a lot guys for the nice comments. I always appreciate them.
Mike,I used several bushes of various sizes on top of a burm made from plaster. The grass is Woodland Scenes. The bigger leaves are from Kamikazuri as are the flowers. That is a lazer cut paper company.
The key I think is to use a wide variety of styles because nature is very disorderly and random.
Thanks again guys,
J

Very nice figures. Are they made from parts from different makers ?

Thanks,
6 are made from heavily modified Tamiya figs. There are also a few Dragon ones,a Glencoe and a Resicast representative included.

Very impressive Jerry - as always. You are spoiling us Brits with Brits!

Interesting to see you blend Tamiya with Dragon, etc. The Tamiya figures are, to a man, very tall - which is odd for Tamiya. It's almost as if they decided to try and make up for decades of dumpy figures by stretching these guys out!

Thanks again for your kind words here mate!
I have some new dios in the process that really show the size difference between the manufacturers. Real people are all not the same height so the concept can work in scale. I think the key is,you have to use the same size equipment.
I finally combined all the Epsom work so far into one thread. I hope it makes it easier to follow!
