Nice start. Two remarks if you don't mind : the radio set is green with only the front face black, the ammo boxed are too dark.
I have never seen a model of a VBL with this conversion. I'll follow your build with interest.

Hello Olivier
Thanks for the reply, I,m glad you are watching, please give me as much input as you can, the interior green is not perfect. I painted the radio before I saw references, I,ll change that

I can’t find any reference for this French conversion set, do you have any picture or colour references..?
What colour are the ammo boxes, I followed the instructions Tamiya olive green
Thanks in advance

I'm not sure this conversion is already in service with the French army. I think it's just a kind of prototype by Panhard.
Tamiya Olive Green is a bit dark. Add some yellow and it should do the trick.

The conversion set fits perfectly, parts mounted with Blutack to check where the parts all go
and after many hours of searching i actually found some reference pics of the conversion set

Wow, very nice. I like the work on the interior and the conversion pieces look superb. I like how it all comes together, seems like a very enjoyable build.
Well done,

VBL is finished, i just need to repaint my figure with french camo using references. I dont know what to do with the base yet, i dont have any static grass or foliage for tropical scape.

I've been enjoying your build very much, Rob. You really did a wonderful job on the conversion.
I'm a bit dissapointed by the weathering and finishing the model. I guess there would be some more dust on the vehicle in the desert seting... Don't get me wrong, I don't like heavy weathering which is a norm nowadays, but some would do well to "connect" the model to the base.
