Would this not just be adding decals to the the exiting kits they offer?
Seems folks are doing that now with Star Decals.

Get a complete truck and a complete M113 and the required decals OR buy the complete package without the parts that are not needed.
I wonder if they modified the lowar hull so that it looks like a hull with the running gear removed ...

The kit has individual wheel arms and torsion bars. Makes it easy to build the kit without suspension.

This would have been good news a couple months ago prior to I’ve acquiring the AFV Club M113, M54 and aftermarket Decals for this setup.
They won’t go to waste though.
It will be interesting to see what parts, if any, they leave off from the base kits.

I was about to reply with the same info. As much as I like having options included, I kind of hope the guntruck version eliminates parts like the road arms, torsion bars and road wheels to save a little $.

Of course they come out with both kits in one, because i have already combined the M113 & M54 and star decals to make the "The Colonel" gun truck. It never fails, it seems that when I scratch build or kit bash to create something not sold as is, a company makes the kit. Should have waited, now I hope they release other 5 ton gun trucks, but they won't, until I create one with after market products.

Am seeing it coming as I am I'm trying to get the mods to make a M51 dump truck, only to see them come out with one. The way of the hobby! Oh, well, whatever it takes to get our kits made. Wayne

I believe this is rather a (very well done) replica. AFAIK, the only guntruck that have made it back from Vietnam is Eve of Destruction

HP, you are correct. The only original gun truck is Eve of Destruction.

wow they're really hitting up the gun truck line although I'd guess this kit will share a lot of similar parts to their more recent Vietnam era kits.
