Today's WarWheels update are some photos of the Land Rover "Snatch Vixen" Patrol Vehicle courtesy of the UK Ministry of Defence. Here's al link to all of them: http://www.warwheels.net/LandySnatchVixenUKmod.html .

Very nice Alex! 🍻 What conversion did you use? Accurate Armour or Black Dog?

Thank you Patrick. I used the Blackdog set with some changes and added parts, like wheels (WMIK Legend Productions tires + Hobbyboss rims), rolled MCS camouflage net (Voyager Model), wipers, front boxes, wire cutter, license plates.

For some time now, I've been planning to carry out a conversion of a 1/76-scale Land Rover Defender to produce one of these. My only problem is that I've been unable to find a way of recreating the Barracuda camouflage system. Despite trying various methods, nothing seems to be acceptable in this scale. Apologies to those who have already seen my earlier query for this, but maybe someone has a solution ...

1:76 ?! Not an easy scale.
Have you try to fix some sand or use a textured paste ?

Alex,

Both of these have been considered, but neither is successful.
I know that Cromwell Models produce various vehicles with the Barracuda moulded on, but nothing for a Land Rover.

Oh well, something to think about for the future.
