hi all, i have come to a big problem in the makinf of my wirblewind. i am up to making the cogs where you put the poly caps. well, i am hapily sitting there doing what a dioramast does best and the intrusctions say glue poly cap here, ( not in those words but you know what i mean). i have used polu caps before with armou, but it seems that this kit did not come with any, and it doesnt indicate where to get them or on which sprue they are. does anyone have any suggestions ?????????
thnx
matt

The polly caps would have been thier own sprue.
They are a soft rubbery type of plastic.
You could try (in no particular order)
1. Filling the axle holes with putty and drilling solid holes.
2. Foam board insulation (in the US we have a type of insulation that is very close in texture, it is cut to fit behind electric plug plates to insulate gaps there)
3. Make more solid ones out of some plastruct 'pipe' sections
4. Ask anyone here if they have extras (I don't sorry)
5. Call customer service of the maker, they may send you the sprue
6. Go to a local DIY store and look for rubber gromets that you can either use or cut to fit.
