I want to present you my Sherman from Heller in 1/72. Built out of box exept add texture on hull and transmision cover. Painted by Tamiya colours.

Is that a re-brand of Airfix's ancient Sherman? Very nice!

I dont't think that it is Airfix rebrand. Quality of this kit is much better than ussaly in Airfix kits, and may be i'm wrong, but Airfix Sherman is in 1/76 isin't it?

Your Sherman looks well constructed but except for the suspension I find it a bit too clean for my taste. I like your base and it looks very well done! I am curious which Tamiya paint did you use for the body, was it XF-62? If I recall correctly the Heller kit was actually distributed by Airfix at some point but was indeed made by Heller.

the Heller Shermans are not Airfix rebrands but were developed when Airfix and Heller were owned by the same people. The Airfix Sherman is over 50 yrs old and is a true horror in detai land scale with an undersized turret. It represents a DV hulled M4 with three piece transmission (loosely) and is 1/76th The Heller M4A2 and M4 are absolute gems in 72nd and give you the option of DV or Cast hoods, wading gear for the M4 and a lot of detail.

I used XF-58 as a base colour and XF-49 for highlight's.

Interesting, Olive base with Khaki highlights. Shows how deceptive pictures can be as I at first thought the overall colour was XF-51 (Khaki Drab) but most manufacturers recommend an Olive Drab (XF-62) for Shermans. Then there's the issue of what the camera sees and what a particular monitor will display! Oh well, it worked quite well in your case as I have found the Tamiya Olive Drab a bit too dark for 1/72 scale subjects so I'll give the Olive Green a try next time.
