It looks like it's just a plastic guard for the flex mount on for the whip antenna
Edit: ... or rubber...

It`s a rubber insulation for the Harris HF antenna. You can use the antenna from AFV Club M1130 CV.

It's a rubber boot covering the spring on the antennae mount. The boots wear out fairly quickly.
