I need to find/make some 1/35 scale chain link fence.
Can anyone help?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Wedding Veil fabric makes a good chain link fence. you should be able to find it at a fabric store and the cost shouldn't be too much

I've used an old mosquito net sprayed metallic grey once, seemed to work fine.

I once did a prison / POW diorama, and for my "link fence" I used a wonderful product... head over to Home Depot and look in the dry-wall section. You should be able to find some rolls (or folded sheets) of expanded aluminum. Just the right "mesh", and since it is a thick aluminum, you can easily straighten or bend to suit your needs. I used metal posts, and slivers of Pewter foil to make the caps and anchors, , and then capped the top with "concertina wire" (razor wire) to finish the build. I then did a wash in rust mixed WITH nickel (more dull than "silver") to give it an aged look. Came out great. - Keith

I found a kitchen utensil that is very useful. I'ts a large round mesh wire you can place on top of a frying pan to avoid heated oil or butter to spatter all over the kitchen.
I'ts more expensive than mosquito mesh or wedding veil fabrics, but it looks a lot more realistic.
Here's a sample of this stuff (this truck is on 1/16 : on 1/35 I think it would make a fine chain link fence.

You could come up with some chains in the wife´s jewellery box.
Those pieces of old, dirty, cheap chains once covered with gold...some of them have very good-looking links. Every woman has those.
Billing Boats makes chains, but the price is high...

Sorry I misunderstood what a chain link fence is! Thought about a fence around some statues or displays with metal bars and chain.

I would go for the wedding veil fabric as well. They also have different kinds of these fabrics with different patterns in some lingerie shops...

Ok so I found my roll of nylon window screen It measures 2" x2.5" in 1/35 scale.
Chain link is 2" x 2"........ Close enough for me. :-) :-) #:-) #:-) :-) :-)

Is this the name of a store ? We don't have it in France but there are already so many...
And I realy mean a lot...
Anyway, my girlfriend will be looking for some cheap marriage veil for me.
Of course she was surprised when I told her : "it's for cammo netting !"

Good thing you have some female assistance for that! I can imagine YOU going to a shop, asking for marriage veil: "But Sir! Could we just recommend you a tuxedo? Suit You, Sir!"

Yeah and she'll come back with this HUGE white armored cuirass looking thing with 4 or 5 clasps in the back and enough material in the front to double as a Apollo capsule recovery parachute and her bloomers will make a Zoauve blush, they'll be so roomy! All this if she's a petite size 3!

No, by all means, for you sanity, man, go with her. Help her with these things. They are helpless by themselves and wind up in stores whose names end in "-Mart!"
