Here is my 3-15 Infantry figure set in the early stages of OIF1 while the troops were still in MOPP. This is the 120mm Verlinden figure. I liked it very much. I only added a few details. The MOPP suit is great.

I forgot to weather the top of the cooler. I will go back and do that. And I need to highlight the boots. I think I will touch up the face just a bit. The cell phone photos and the lighting don't show the face well.

That's probably the best buildup of this figure I have seen and the scene you have him in makes is pose look even better. Great job!!
I have had this in my stash for over 20yrs lol

Thanks. Here is a little bit better photo of his face. I was having a difficult time getting the face to photograph correctly.

That looks awesome! Figures have always been the bane of my existence.

Great work!

Looks great Bob. Only comment I have is that the issue ALICE canteen pouches were all overall green at that time. We didn't get camo canteen pouches until the MOLLE canteen pouches.

Thanks Gino. I do recall talking with a 2nd Bde vet who advised they received some new equipment right before jumping off - and they did not even know what to do with it. I do have Obj Curly pics that show the camo canteens, and those guys are 3-15 IN, which this figure represents.

Here is a pic of a 3-15 guy in Kuwait.

Good find on the camo MOLLE canteen. But I think the one supplied in this kit is of the older ALICE type.

Yes, fair enough. The MOLLE one has a clip over the top that the ALICE one does not. It would probably be best then to paint these canteens in just the plain green.

Yes, they should be green since the figure has ALICE pouches, not camo MOLLE pouches. That was my initial point, maybe just not expressed very well.
