watching the news, I have notice some US army wearing 3 tone color camo.base color appear to be deck tan, blob pale green(field gray?) and streak of red brown.

Yes, it was known as DCU (Desert Camo Uniform), or 3-color DCUs. It was actually phased out in Apr '08 and no longer authorized for wear by the Regular Army. Special Ops wore it much longer, some still wear it.

I think something like this is what the poster was going for: dark brown, pale green, and beige color used.

That is the same pattern, just a different interpretation of it.

My interpretation:
Base tone XF-55 deck Tan
Pale Green XF-23 Light blue
Brown XF-52 Earth Brown

But it is pale green, not blue. Looks like FS34552 might work, if anybody makes it.

I used the Tamiya colors from the instructions, and they matched up well with my archived uniforms I wore in Desert Shield/Desert Storm:
XF-57: Buff
XF-60: Dark Yellow
XF-68: NATO Brown
XF-57: Buff
XF-60: Dark Yellow
XF-68: NATO Brown
