Some of this month Eduard releases:
35657 M-113A2 Desert 1/35 TAM
35651 M-978 exterior 1/35 ITA
35667 M-978 interior 1/35 ITA
35656 M2A2 ODS 1/35 TAM
35663 SA-2 missile with trailer 1/35 TRU
All I can say is.... FINALLY!!!
M2A2 sets looks interesting and good value, as CIPs are included in it. Eduard made some mistakes however - for example fire extinguisher guard is M2 style, not correct fo M2A2. Also many other M2 style parts were improved instead of replaced with correct A2 style ones. Eduard also failed to include several details typical to A2 variant, which are missing from Tamiya kit and could have been easily added as PE parts (e.g. guards over turret periscopes). The biggest disappointment is lack of parts to correct the top of gun mantlet - the most visible inaccuracy of Tamiya kit.
Judging from photos on Eduard website, the M978 set includes "Oshkosh" logos for the front of the truck and for mud flaps - one detail that I was waiting for so long :-)

Pawel

I won't be surprised to see them as a separate set soon... They added CIPs to this set, so they had to leave something else for separate release.

I just sent an e-mail to Karel Pádár, Chairman of Eduard with question/suggestion about the tie-downs set for Bradley. I'll let you know what Karel's response will be.

I wonder, if I buy the Big Ed PE set for the M1A1 Abrams (Tamiya) will it correct it's inaccuracies (except ofcourse the non-slip coating which must be done manually)

I think some inaccuracies will be corrected, like the shape of the intake grille on the hull (although I'm not 100% sure as the instructions picture is not quite clear as to the shape of PE grille part). Some others remain. Eduard of course made some errors - I guess they do it in each their PE set... In Abrams set they provide parts to change the look of smoke grenade boxes on the turret to the type used on M1A1HC tanks, but Tamiya kit is plain old M1A1, so those Eduard parts are inaccurate.

Pawel
