This washing technique is something else....
I've seen the results on other peoples projects and like the way it looks.. I just have a hard time with the technique myself...
My question is " I used Turpinoid Natual with black oil paint as a wash on a cable of an AFV.... I looks good, BUT, it's been 4 days and the "wash" is still moist on the part. How long should it take to evaporate? I did use a cloth to wipe away the excess "wash" but the black tint in the cableling is still moist to the touch...
What am I doing wrong.....?

You need to get that off somehow - it will never dry. You need to use Turpenoid, Turpenoid Natural is the wrong product.
The stfuff you used is porbably a golden yellow color. Turpenoid should be crystal clear.
Maybe start with soap and warm water.
If left on, it will start to eat away the glue.
How do I know? Experience man! Luckily yours didn't go on the whole model!
