Hello Gents

Finally I decided to post some pictures of my latest work.

I started this build about one year ago and managed to finish until the Scale Model Challende in Eindhoven (19th-20th of October).
On the Trumpeter base kit I used the suspension and rear fender parts from SP designs, fuel tanks and details from Legend and some parts from the spare part box.

Comments highly welcome

Well done!

I am curious about the opening around the machine gun on the turret. Is it a slit with canvas or some brush on the sides or is it a canvas cover with an opening for the barrel and sufficient canvas to allow for elevation?

Hello

@Joe: Thank you very much!

@Robin: The kit itself doesn't provide anything around the MG. But most soviet vehicles had some kind of protection around they main or secondary weapon. Therefore I tried to replicate canvas.

Cheers

Hi;

"Very Nice Job"! IMHO Your Periscopes would look better if you painted them either Gloss Black or use Gloss Coat !!
There is some good Videos of IT-1s that show the vehicle in various films; One in particular shows it moving Towards the Camera and Launching the Missile. Again Great Job !!!

CHEERS; MIKE.
