How about the really big guns?
1. Railroad guns?
2. Costal artillery?
Dora? Bruno short and long? Azio Anny? The whole line of fortified guns from Atlantic wall over Sevastopol to Russian Island in Vladivostok? Not to forgot all the lovely Verlinden pieces from the American civil war?
BTW, why no dios? Railroad, costal and siege guns are crying for a base (well, some of them were in dire need for a concrete base plate), from which a nice dio is not a large step away...

With a Battery Longues kit (Masterpiece models) in the stash and expecting a 280mm triple turret made by Schatton in 2020
- big enough guns?

Railroad and coastal guns, yes! If you've got time to build the Atlantic Wall, go for it!
I guess I can be flexible on the dio thing. I'm just more into the model itself and not necessarily all the ground works. It's just a personal thing. I can waive it.
Are ya in?!

Great move! I am in!
Still have to think about which kit. There are in the stash a German WW2 and a Japanese Port Arthus siege howitzer too. I have to ponder this.
Just to be curious:
Is the new russian naval AK-130 twin gun kit allowed? It's not AAA, but to be used against naval and ground targets. This one might give some modern SPGs bad feelings of being insufficient
Another important question - about the campaign(s).
This is my first campaign. How does it work? Where to post the build blog and the in-progress photos? Do I have to start my own topic, and where? Add the images of the finished model here in this thread or elsewhere?
Sorry for dumb questions, but there is no how-to about campaigns at this forum. At lest I ddin#t find one.

I'm going to give the AK-130 a thumbs-down from me. It looks more like a direct fire weapon. Now if you were talking about something like building a gun turret from the Yamato or something I might allow that.
Once we get under way I'll start the official campaign thread. That's where we'll all post our pics and talk about our projects. You'll probably need to set yourself up on one of the various online storage systems: PhotoBucket, Imgur, etc. Before we go live I'll get the completed models gallery set up too.
Welcome to everyone who has expressed interest. We're well on our way. Do you have ideas on what you're going to enter? I've got a few options: the Trumpy 2S1, the Revell-Germany 109A6, the Meng Panzerhaubitze 2000 (also the Revell-Germany one)...those are just the ones I have right now.

Bogi,
Any ideas of what you will build for this campaign. Really like your builds.
Cheers!

..and yes this sucker will join another... probably a Sexton, Dana, "Bison" or LeFH18/40/2/(sf) auf G.W.Pz.Kpw. III/IV (which takes longer to type than build... )
