I'd like to share some pictures of my latest build with you: A Leopard 1A1A4 in scale 1:35.

This is my favourite member of the Leopard 1 family, but unfortunately there are no kits for this particular version on the market anymore. I decided to try to replicate a 1A1A4 by converting Italeri's Leopard 1A5. I also added some more detail by changing some of the kits parts for newer parts from the Revell Leopard 1A1. I also used a Eduard Photo-Etch set. The model was painted using AK Interactive's outstanding Real Color paints. I also decided to try something new for the weathering phase of the build: Pigment weathering. I think it turned out quite nicely for a first try!

I hope you like it!

Wow! That Leo 1 looks really good, Jasper!

If you like building Leopards you should check out 40 Years of the Leopard 2 This campaign will kick off January 1st.

Thank you very much Richard!

I will make sure to take a look at the group build, might be the perfect chance to build a Leopard 2A5NL in winter camouflage!
