I know this site relies on ads for income which is why it's white listed on all my adblockers, in fact it's the only site I white list, but why are we seeing ads in the posts themselves? Everywhere on the screen is ad ad ad and now they are in the posts? I can't hardly touch the screen on my tablet with out hitting an ad and the nice thing used to be the posts were clear of them. One reason I killed my facebook account were the number of ads cluttering up my news feed. So is this how it's gonna be?

I have noticed this in one single thread so far.
An ad for some arthritis relief stuff turned up in your reply in the thread about an app.
It was there a little while and it was gone when I checked the thread to see if there was something in your post that lured the arthritis in.

I just looked, and on some threads there are banner ads between posts, spaced one ad every five posts. Can't remember when these started appearing, but aside from the dreaded AK black/orange flickering banner incident they are easily ignored.
I see them, even though I'm a paying subscriber.

In this case it was an ad smack bang in the middle of a post.

I noticed a Yoga ad in the middle of a Jim Starkweather comment yesterday. Thought maybe he was takin’ the piss and telling somebody to chill! 🤣 Later, it disappeared.
Maybe Admin is tweaking the network... hopefully in our favor.
Cheers!🍺

Hi all,
Glad it's not just me, thought I was going mad.
I just updated a post and found an add located between two paragraphs when I submitted it.
I went in to edit, and there was no obvious link to add in the location it should have been situated in. However, when I updated and went back to the post the add was back in the same place.
The only way I could remove the add was to make the two paragraphs in to one big one, thus eradicating the location where the add had been situated...if that makes sense?
Not sure why it's happening.
Cheers, ,
G

I'm seeing them under the reply text in posts. Not banner ads between them but smack dab in the MIDDLE of the posts. Seen them on 6-7 posts so far usually in the first post on a page. Really annoying.
But at least I'm not the only one seeing them. Or we are all going slightly mad. Cumulative affect of glue fumes maybe?

Just noticed large banner ads from Google now appearing in first post in a thread, between the yellow header and the post's text box. Not cool, Jim...

I raised this with Jim Yesterday and he is trying to deal with it as he believes it may be one of those nasty people who insert code to raise revenue for themselves.

I can say for certain that two of the occurences were in posts were the poster most definitely would NOT insert any advertising code in the post.

No Robin someone inserts code that auto generates adds in various places and raises income for them. Think of it as a hidden version of a spammer.

I can't think of any poster inserting code into their posts. Gotta be with a new account since I've only been seeing this the past few days.
Kill all new accounts.

You saw an ad in one of my posts (about tie down chain sizes) and I saw one in one of yours. The ad was gone again after a few minutes.

This has only been going on for a few days. I think it was Tuesday when I saw the first one. How many new accounts since that time frame?

These people do not have accounts as they insert the code into auto generated portions of the site code. We had one recently who inserted codes for something called 'Tiny' in all reviews and features that had to be stripped out.
