I believe it is just parts of the vehicle packed into the bucket from the factory. The crews will have to attach the parts as they "unpack" the vehicle and get it ready to use. It looks like the rear bumper, along with turn signal/light extensions and the spare tire all packed in there.

I guess Gino's right. Here some HMEE's moved into position prior to being loaded onto a C-5 Galaxy :

According to my references, interior walls are painted CARC Tan. Rubberblack floormats, black plastic dashboard and darkgrey seat. Hows the quality of the Panda kit?

Hi Hakan,
Thanks for the info. I only have to find out if the version provided by Panda is the same as 2nd SCR uses. Speaking of the Geschützter Baggerlader, a conversion set would need lots of cameras and even more warning/caution signs.

That is what makes the German version more interesting

I will build one which is used in European theater.
What is the best model colour for the overall green or the washable green which is painted over the carc tan? Hope that some body could help me!

Can`t go wrong with Tamiya XF-67. But be warned, all the pics of the HMEE-1 over here show non-armored versions. I you build the kit OOTB, you need to paint it CARC Tan.

Hallo Hans-Hermann.
Vielen Dank für den Tipp! Thank you! I will build it OOTB, so it will be tan. May I find some pictures of a rotational engenier unit as a reference.
Viele Grüße
Andreas
