Hello,

Does anyone perhaps knows what are the dimensions of this gantry?
I tried to find some info on the net, but no luck so far.
Tia !

You mean in the box? Or real life dimensions? I can measure the box contents. It's about a third bigger than the old Italeri Toolshop crane. Nice accessories, too

I was watching a Youtube video review about the kit. The guy unpacking the box laid the trees on a cutting mat which looked like it had metric (10 mm) grid divisions. My guesstimate is the finished model is about 120 mm side-to-side and approximately 100-110 mm tall.

G’day Ge

HobbySearch Japan have the instructions and spruce map for the MiniArt kit on their website (https://www.1999.co.jp). Included in the kit are items that you probably have, e.g. 200l drums that can be used as a known value to calculate the dimensions of any other items including the gantry. The rest is basic mathematics.

Good luck

Christian

I’m glad I could help you today too.

Good Evening Christian,
Your contribution was thoroughly appreciated, in both senses.
Some friendly poking in the ribs is part of the fun around here
Cheers /Robin

Anyway, thanks again for all the input.

It is 5 inches high, 5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep.

That doesn't include the chains and winches which hang down but move side-to-side.

Glad to have helped. You were just fortunate the I'm doing a motor pool dio right now and thought the MiniArt crane is sooooo much better than the Tamiya one I purchased in Japan.
