I'm unable to find any indication there is or has been a 1/35 kit of this towed AT piece. perhaps someone knows otherwise.

There is/was a kit of the predecessor, the BS-3, though.

I suppose another alternative would be Trumpeter's D-44 85mm, which I believe with a new, longer barrel and a pepperpot muzzle brake could be made to resemble a D-48 AT piece. This would get me something though smaller but with the lean look of the DT-12. I do dread attempting to scratch that muzzle brake though and I would need to spend considerable more time on breech differences D-44 vs D-48 before deciding how straight forward it all might be. Again, thanks.

I don't think there is a T12 available at all, which is a pity as then the Trumpeter AT-P tractor could tow it!

Talking of the D44, has anyone converted it into the SP version - ie the one with a small motor unit and a 3rd wheel on the trails? I'm thinking of having a go but some pointers - if anyone else has done it - would be helpful. I'm not the world's most confident converter.

ICM made kit's of the 100mm AT Gun, both separate and towed by A Truck, and I thought trumpy also made A kit. The ICM kit was IMHO over scale and closer to 1/32nd !

As far as I can see ICM's offering is the BS-3 which Trumpeter also has, so a generation or better earlier than the MT-112 Rapira. But I'd love to be shown wrong on this.

Trumpeters BS-3, kit nr 02331, says M1944 on the box ...

"The T-12 entered service in 1961,[4] replacing the BS-3 100 mm field gun. It was typically deployed in the anti-tank units of armoured and motor rifle regiments to protect flanks against counter-attacks during rapid advances.

In 1970, it was replaced in production by the T-12A or MT-12 "Rapira", which features a new smoothbore gun, the 100 mm 2A29 gun, as well as a redesigned carriage and gun shield to protect the crew from machine gun fire and shell splinters. Thanks to the redesigned carriage, which has a bigger wheel base, the MT-12 can be towed by the MT-LB, at speeds up to 60 km/h on road or 25 km/h cross-country. "

BS-3s were in service until about a decade ago. They were used for coastal defense on the Kuriles. This is the ICM with the post war wheels.

The only scale model of the MT-12 I've found is in 1/87th scale (RK-Modelle)...
