The IDF has unveiled officially today the NA”MER (Nagmash Merkava) a heavy ARV based on the Merkava 3 hull, according to the publication, the Namer has a crew of seven plus a driver and commander and is able to carry a complete merkava power pack on it’s deck, the namer is equipped with a crane and a powerful winch “the namer can now fill the functions that were filled by three different vehicles in the past: the truck carrying the power pack, the M88, and the Fitter” in case of need the namer can also function as an armored ambulance and can be fitted to carry two stretchers, a medic and the commander and driver.
