Hi All
I'm building the Dragon M1 Panther II MDCV and was wondering what the crew would have worn for a vehicle serving in Iraq. Would it have been ACUs or the tanker overalls? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
sorry, I'm too uneducated to post a real link here, but my build report at
http://www.panzer-modell.de/berichte/mdcv_panther2/panther_e.php might help with a few details of the model.

The uniforms would depend on when you are depicting it from. For initial invasion in '03 up to about '06, they would be in DCU 3-color desert camo. '06 to '08 was a transition time and either DCUs or ACUs could be worn. APR 30 '08 was the wearout date for DCUs. From May '08-'11, they would be in digital ACUs.

Thanks for the help guys.
Gino, that's the info I was looking for; the time periods of the various uniforms. I have several modern US Army figures in resin I can use. Hopefully I'll get it done soon and post pics.
Pete, I checked out those pictures on Primeportal and they were great, thanks again.
Peter, that's a great article of yours on the correction you made, I'll be using some of them !
Thanks again everyone for your replies
