I’m looking for some advice, I’d like to build a Humvee from Operation Gothic Serpent 1993 Mogadishu.
Now what model Humvee would be correct for this time? I do have a Tamiya M1025 armament carrier if this is suitable even as a starting point.
The other question is regarding what markings including bumper codes were carried?
Thanks for any help.

The HMMWVs were all unarmored, standard M1025s and M998s. Some look to be M1045s with armored doors. The doors are available in the Tamiya M1046 (w/winch) TOW HMMWV kit. They were a mix of NATO camo and sand vehicles. They also had a mix of .50 cals and Mk19 grenade launchers mounted. I don't think they really had any markings on them though.
You can see some in the below pics.

Thank you Gino, when I get around to it I just want to model the ground element along with the Blackhawk and Little Birds.
