Hi All
I plan to build the HF Wrecker and the Blackdog TFT in the future and would appreciate advice on the best donor kits.
Hopefully, theres also a PLS out there in the longer term, but I believe theres a "how to" for that build on this site.
Thanks in advance.

The Trumpeter HEMTTs are the best. The Trumpeter kit blows away the old Italeri kits by a mile in details.
For the wrecker and firetruck, I would go with the M1120 LHS kit and modify the length of the frame as needed.
I am planning on making a standard M977A2 HEMTT using the Trumpeter M983A2 kit (lengthened) with the bed and crane parts from Italeri.
Hmm, I wonder who did an M1074 PLS on here???

Thanks Gino
I did the Italeri 977 and yes it could have used alot of detail. I did use RM Wheels and that general carg load they make but will probably follow your mix of Trumpy and Italeri to build the M977 one day.
