In spite of all the AM Abrams barrels out there, this one looks like a distinct improvement, especially the locking ring aft of the muzzle.

It looks like there's a problem with the Abrams MRS unfortunately, as seen in the 1st photo from their website http://magicmodels.ru/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=3567&category_id=254&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=4&lang=ru&vmcchk=1&Itemid=4
it isn't angled in relation to its base as it should be so this is a case of aftermarket not being necessarily better than the kit part.

I should have specified, angled in relation to the base when viewed from the top. It's angled to align with the gunners sight.

This is not an M1A2 but the image shows the angle towards the gunners sight, same principle applies to the M1A2 as well ..
