It's hard to tell what's so fancy about the neo-smart tracks? Or Neo-smart kit itself? (Other than jacking up the price)
Neo smart Nazi kit? What's next, Dragon? Neo white supreme label kit?

The neo-smart tracks are semi-flexible from the look of the provided details. This is similar to the tracks in the new Type 97 tank kits. They work ok but flex at the weakest part of the track section, which isn't always at the actual joint line. With StuG tracks, I would worry that it will bend where the track pad narrows before the pin.

Another reason to chuck DS and Neo tracks for the accuracy and strength (and tedium) of the individual track links initially offered by Dragon in Days Gone By...Heck, I actually buy either OEM individual track sets or aftermarket sets and ignore the kits included sets. An evening of quiet tedium is more than offset by the advantages otherwise offered by individual track links. Only wish that Dragon would revert. And redo their instruction sheets.

Jeepers some people seem to never be happy, and make snap judgements based on a picture. Admittedly Dragon instrucions can be frustrating at times, but that is known, so if it's Dragon instructions you know to study them carefully before launching into the build. Also at least they have realised a lot of people don't like individual track links, so brought out DS - obviously these had long term issues, so Dragon have dropped them and now are doing link-and-length (as has Tamiya I've noticed!!!) Crikey you'd think people would be glad - but no the "lets bash Dragon" brigade surface - if you don't like their stuff don't buy it, there's no need to slag it off when you obviously haven't got your hands on the kit yet! I for one am grateful for the vast range of kits Dragon have brought out, that we'd probably be waiting decades for Tamiya to get round to releasing. Rant over!
Looks good to me, especially with the interior as that Stug in particular has huge hatches, look forward to it's release.

looks good to me; I'd buy one; got some Dragons in the stash; I avoid certain kits in their lineage but the ones I have are carefully selected and so far build up real nice;

Dragon's Neo kits are not just about the "new" Neo tracks, they also feature partial interior (which in most cases means fighting and driving compartment and no engine).
In the Stug's case we already had the fighting compartment and now from the CAD's it looks like the driving compartment is there too (with the differential included)

Having seen the discounted price in the UK of the Panzer 111,£67.49, I think the Smart thing to do with this kit is to avoid it.
