Hello modeling friends.
About two years ago I bought this magnificent kit from AFV Club.
Rommels Mammoth is a real cool truck, story is well known I guess.
Erwin Rommel's drive's all have that particular, a little eccentric flair. Even his flight is special for some reason.
The AFV Club - kit AF35235 - comes with a special resin radio / communication set.

My question: Who, (After Market) makes such a complete set?

Today I received another AEC Armored truck from AFV Club, this time it's the English version, truck Noº 5. This one needs the same radio / communication set.

Because when there is a Max, a Moritz ain't far away.
Need to find out who the commander was using Moritz.
Dragon has a nice set (DRAGON 1/35 6723 Rommel & Staff, North Africa 1942).

Ok, almost forgot to mention I started a truck called Max.
Some pictures will follow over the weekend.

Hi Robert,

Kalin is constantly praising Eduards TP528 German Radio Equipment WWII. It has all required Radio sets in PE.
He is using Dragon's 3826 Communication Centre with Signal Troops for the figures.

According to the Engines of the Wehrmacht website : "Generalleutnant Ludwig Crüwell used "White 2" with Serial Number L4426422 and named it "Moritz" "

Thanks for the reply both. My love and hate with Eduard sets... we'll see. Thanks Frenchy, the other AEC, which I received today has serial Noº L4426428. Truck Number 3 they captured has serial NoºL4426423.
Trucks are all identical, so I'll swap some numbers. There is a special story with that Mister Crüwel. Come back on that, when I remember.
It's a pity only the underside off the engine is there. Rest of the model, as build from yesterday evening is just very nice. Some of the better AFV Club kits I've build so far. Good quality plastic and for once not the absurd thin, skinny and microscope demanding parts.
Pictures will follow soon.

Kind regards,

Robert Jan

Seems that TP528 has been discontinued and replaced by 36162

Thanks for the search H.P. But my story is different. Have to check M.L. for the origin of my thoughts.
