I'm looking to buy the 1/35 scale Tank Workshop M4A2 wading set with the 55 gal drums as stacks. Also interested in any other wading sets available. Tank Workshop appears to be out of business. Contact me at [email protected]

The web site is still there, but it says it is for sale. The price is interesting. Have you contacted the owner?

The business was sold to Brian a couple of years ago:

His own Resin2detail website shows he is under pressure supplying his main business aircraft parts after taking up a full time job in in September 2019

So at a guess, the TW stuff is unlikely to be produced until a new buyer is found.

I've tried contacting the owner and no joy. No response. I was hoping someone would have it in their stash and would be willing to sell.

I could scratch build it but I would need some plans.

Why has no one come out with a series of wadding trunks for the different Shermans?????
Seems like a no brainer.
There are several limited use versions intended for the Marine Shermans but what about the D-Day Normandy applications?
I am currently attempting to scratch build a set for my Normandy landing diorama but with less than exciting results.

The manufacturer's website lists it as "discontinued" but you can still find it...

Tank Workshop had a few sets for Sherman's and I believe and M5 and M3. But as stated before they are out of business. There are a few 1/35 scale Sherman's out there with trunks and 1 in 1/72. I may resort to changing the period and version and do something else.
I would love to see a version for the M10 TD

I am the former owner of Michael Roberts Ltd Miniature Company. I have all the assets to cast these parts. I would love to purchase some of these masters and produce them. (at a reasonable price that is.)

There is a manual for setting up a tank or armored vehicles for deep wading. I've lost the copies I had during a storm that blew off part of my roof. I had a look through my copies and no joy.
The Marine kits were not the standard version, being more of a use what you have on hand if I recall, but followed the basic pattern.
One of the more interesting statements in the manual was to use spare strips, or pieces, of steel and weld these in place to cover gaps and hold the structure in place. I suspect some of the odd metal parts welded to the rear of some tanks was used on the deep wading trunks.
