I hope that is the right section for this.
At the moment i'm in the process of building a "Battle of Moscow" Diorama. That Diorama will include Dragons PanzerIII ausf.J and Masterbox "Cold Wind" Figure set.
Now my question is:
Were the German Tanks, at the Operation Taifun, already painted in a Winter Whitewash? I looked up some Pictures on the Internet and they majority show the Tanks in Panzer Grey
I hope i can geht some help with this question.
cheers
David

I just saw a similar discussion somewhere on this topic. The answer was that for the winter of 41-42 the German army was unprepared for winter fighting and did not have winter clothing or whitewash for the vehicles. They had expected to capture Moscow before winter hit.
