I'm wondering what color should I use for paint chipping. I'm thinking about worn edges and such, bare metal exposure. I'm not asking you how to do actual chipping, but how to make the right metal color, what color should I use and what to do with it, so it would look like bare metal.
Here are some examples I found interesting: Example 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Thanks for you time, bye

Looking at those pictures made me realise what I did wrong. My silver was obviously too bright, seems like I have to brush over with a darker tone. Maybe a gunmetal color or pencil lead?
I can't really say what would work best, at least it should be dirty and a bit dark it seems.
