Hello all gentles,
I am researching about the wiring of MILEs system with M1A2 SEP. I want to reproduce the wiring of MILEs in the exercise’s situation using 1/35 the Rye Field models product , but how can I get a detailed picture, in brief where from in and to out and branches ?
If you have any recommendations in photo books or web gallery, please let me.

Good find Frenchy!

@ Akio
The RFM kit has CVTESS set, which is different to MILES. If you want to have an accurate CVTESS set, try Blast Models. RFM parts are a little simplfied.

As for printed references, Tankograd Publishing has/had a book about the M1A2 SEP V2 that has some images of the MILES/CVTESS arrangement.

Hans-Hermann

thank you so much! The recommend-upgrade kit and photobook seems to excellent.
Honestly I did not have enough understanding about MILES / CVTESS.

RFM's picture shows truly description? typeI = MILES Type II= CVTESS?

Best regards,

AK

Henri-Pierre

It is very clear, Thanks

I'm looking at my stack-parts case to find out what junk parts to reproduce the wiring connector and other exterior equipments.

Saab Defense leaflet about CV-TESS.

I think the main differense are the detection sensors. MILES (Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System) uses Velcro stripes to attach the sensor bands. CV-TESS has magnetic sensor boxes.
