Roger Greenaway's last major update (for now) is available and consists of photos covering the Dutch YP-408 Ambulance and APC. In addition, to finish off our YP-408 photos, we also have more pics of the APC Variant via great friend Don Allen. Now these are very useful indeed and I am nearly inspired to start on my (long stashed) MR Modellbau 1:35 kit; has anyone else tackled this particular kit?

Not that I know of Brian. I would love to see pics of your project when you start building though.

I built the MR modellbau kit a long time ago. I remember the casting was not that great and the upper hull was warped. It required lots of patience and putty and some evergreen

I'll try and bear that in mind Patrick; I really should get around to doing it, God knows it's been in the stash long enough - I suspect the resin is now quite brittle, but I'm up for a challenge. I cut my (resin) teeth on the Commander Models MBT 70 and the Retrokit M75 a couple of years ago so should be able to deal with the YP 408. Famous last words I suspect! We'll see.

Matthijs,
Thanks for the tip; mine too appears to be a bit warped, so I'll probably start with epoxy glue and lots of rubber bands!
I'll try and tackle this in the coming year - one of my resolutions.
