Hello all,
Wondering if anyone has a good painting guide for the MERDC scheme for the LAV-25?

Looks like that early LAV-25 were painted in MERDC.

But I doubt that there was a standard pattern for the vehicle.

Dave,

If you don't find a specific pattern do a search for "LAV 25 Heartbreak Ridge".

There are a couple of scenes in the movie that have LAV 25s driving around and they are painted in Winter MERDC. The movie was filmed at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton back in 1985/1986 so the LAVs did have MERDC back then.

If you can access the full movie you'll be able to see the LAV 25s much better.
