Hi mates!!!

My last post this year.
It is a Jagdpanzer (38 t) "Hetzer" (tank destroyer) from Revell in 1/35 scale. This kit originally comes from the Italaerei (former name of Italeri) from 1972.
This kit-oldtimer was easy to build.

The display is a slate plate on which a floor structure with putty was modeled. After that "snow" came over it. This consisted of baking soda, which was fixed with hair spray.

My model shows an "Hetzer" of an unknown unit, Prague, spring 1945.

Construction, finish, and weathering are all well done! But if you don't mind a little criticism; 1) Lose the figure - looks terrible beside a good model. Just about everybody else makes a better figure; 2) Try to make the sprocket teeth engage the track properly. If they just won't fit, shave them off so the track will fit flush with the sprocket rim, then use lots of mud to hide the teeth's absence. I know those old Italeri/Revell tracks are very stiff and I'm not going to recommend AM tracks that cost 2X the kit - unless you really want them.

No one could do a better job with that figure. It is still ugly, but the tank is a wonderful piece. I give you full credit for wrestling with the tracks. Happy New Year and keep having fun!

Have to agree with some of the others about the figure. The tank however, is very well done and I especially like the camo pattern and the colors you used.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, of course you all are right. The figure is not a beauty and I think I will remove it.
That with the sprocket teeth is a goof that I could have avoided. But I won't work on the finished model anymore. Maybe there is still a bit of mud over this area to conceal a little.
For the next project I will pay more attention to this point.
