The paint technique, which appears to over-use white and tinting, makes them look almost like flats.The MP44 gunner's head looks small, or his jacket seems bulky and out of proportion to the legs and head.

His hands also look gigantic so it might be perspective distortion because the camera was placed too close to the figure.
BTW, Is that supposed to be an M1944 jacket? Looks a little odd.

Was thinking the same thing. By the way the Fallschirmjager's looks very reminiscent of a figure that I built from a forgotten company back in the 1970s! That's not all bad though.
