Hi Thrillseekers
I'm wondering if anyone knows for sure if the RFM Tiger 1 Late Production individual track links set (RM-5017) will fit on the Dragon Tiger 1 late production kit number 6253. Any problems with different drive sprockets or perhaps things unforeseen....
Thanks in advance
cheers
Bob

I can help you on the Dragon side of the equation as I have #6406 which is the rebox.
Unfortunately, my RFM is the early #5003. However, did the sprocket specs change from early to late? I can check tomorrow if that'll work for you.

Aside from design differences in the hub and arms, the same twin sprocket rings were used on the drive wheels throughout the entire production run.

so the question now is if Dragon and RFM have scaled their respective parts correctly ....

I've test fitted the RFM 5003 tracks on a Dragon 6383 when I was building both simultaneously and they fit the 6383 sprockets perfectly. The hull components also interchange easily.

Thanks very much, this is the answer I was looking for. I shall proceed with confidence while also carefully test fitting and checking along the way....
Thanks again!

Hi Everyone
I just did a little test run. I assembled a short run of about 30 links of the RM-5017 tracks and dry-fitted them around the Dragon kit sprockets. Perfect fit! Now I will have plastic workable tracks with the proper hollow guide horns. The dragon kit ones are solid.
Thanks for your help everyone...
cheers
