Hi all

Currently working on Meng's Tiger II with Porsche turret (gem of a kit btw) & it got ne thinking...
I have DML's older Jagd Tiger kit (9036) in the pile which, IIRC, comes with transport tracks. Were there any differences between the KT & Jagd Tiger tracks & running gear?

Cheers

As long as both kits have the Henschel nine roadwheel configuration, then they are the same. They both used the same 800mm roadwheels and torsion bar suspension. They both used the Gg 24/800/300 tracks. I would think the transport tracks would have been the same for both as well.

The hull for the Jagdtiger was extended 40cm. But, the running gear was the same, as near as I can tell from my references.

Same running gear (nine roadwheels per side for Henschel suspension) and track types. The only difference being that the Tiger II used 92 links per run and the Jagdtiger (H) required 94 due to its longer chassis and the idler wheel was positioned farther back.
