O.K. , All. This might be a brain teaser. Years ago (mid 80s? 1984?) there was a painting/ print I saw in a history magazine of a knocked out Sherman. Rusted out and overgrown in a field. Artist was fairly well known ... not a Don Troiani, but .... Under the artwork was a wonderful poem .... about the tank, but honoring all that gave their lives in the liberation of Europe 40 years before. Anybodt remember this? Who painted it? Have access to the poem?
