Hello all,

my Hobbyboss T-35 is now primed and needs some paint. What is the Soviet pre war colour and what are good paint matches (to buy or mix)?

Thanks,

Thomas

It would have been either 4B or 4BO, depending on the year it was built. They were nearly identical.
Tamiya XF-81 + XF-4 (2/3 to 1/3) is a good match.

Neil Stokes (who owns the 4BO site.) wrote the book on KV tanks. He did extensive research on the subject.
Mig Jimenez is a big modelling brand, but their research is not the best.
