The CAD drawings show a lot of details, like screens above the exhausts and the fixed periscopes at the front of the hull as open. I hope they are all there on the finished product. Zvezda has been steadily improving.

I agree with Russ! The CADs do look really good - details in the bottom hull, sponson covers, details in the back of the wheels, etc. No "classic" errors. Hopefully, no rivers and valleys of weld seams. Haha

I also agree that the latest Zvezda kits are well improved - check out their latest T-34's and T-90's. Plus, they're affordable. This will please Shermanholics. Definitely getting this one myself.

Looks good so far; I wonder how the tracks will be offered.

I hope they realize that the gun travel lock for the 75 mm gun is shorter than the one for the 76 mm gun (Dragon still hasn't figured that out) The one on Zvezda's CAD rendering looks more like the 76 mm version. And I hope they realize that the loader's hatch on the 75 mm turret is narrower than the one on the 76 mm turret.
And it appears that once again, there will be no tie down straps for the tools.

Dragon large hatch M4A2 kits (ref. 6462 and 6529) were also partly incorrect in their rear low hull representation and Formations Model F130 resin update was correcting that...
I don't know how long it takes Zvezda usually to change CAD drawings into real plastic but I am very impatient to see this Sherman variant to be released. Also nature of the tracks, choice of wheels and/or decals will fueled the appetite

Wow, so many new sherman kits in last 1 1/2 years:)

If we could only get a new M50 and a DD tank kit in plastic would be spectacular

I read a good review article about "Zvezda M4A2 Sherman" Box contents. I advise. https://hobbyzero.com/kit-reviews/zvezda-m4a2-sherman-review/
