Got a new project in the works, it's Trumpeter's kit the SURN KUB Radar 1S91. The chains are from Friul and the rollers are used by Master Club. At the moment I still have the kit wheels on the model. You can build the model in marching position or in battle position. Here are some photos of the model.

Really interesting vehicle. Could you please share your experience of the build?

It is really a very good kit that is easy to build. The fit of the parts is very good. The castors, which have to be exchanged for the master club, are to be criticized. The kit wheels do not correspond to the original. The flaps of the two front hatches, which were made in one piece, should also be criticized. It is therefore not possible to use a glass pane. The chains made of plastic can be made movable by clicking them together. But I chose Friul. A machine can be built in march or in working position. Tow ropes are not included in the kit. The kit can be built very well and I got very far in a relatively short time. I build the machine in the marching position as soon as I saw it here in my area. I observed the first machines and KUB in 1977. They were from the 1018th Fla Regiment Meissen. I will build a machine of this unit, but here are the new photos of the model.First I put everything together provisionally, the bikes are still being exchanged for the master club.

Best regards LKWMAN

Schönes Teil! Looking Forward for the painted model. Do you plan to add some NVA tankers with it?

Is the wheel spacing and lower hull different that on their SA-6?
