Starting to build Revell 1/35 modern german armor kit. One of colors called for is yellow olive. Does anyone make this color?

I've never heard of it, but it is a color and Vallejo makes it. Vallejo 70892. It's kind of a grey olive drab.

Gelboliv was the standard Bundeswehr color before NATO three-color cammo was introduced in the 1980's. Revell makes the color in the own color line. available in Europe, but not the US. It's a medium, slightly grayish, green, though the color is much more saturated when the vehicle gets wet. Search the web for older Bundeswehr photos, and you'll get a sense of the color.

I make a lot of Bundeswehr models and hitherto have used Revell's own Enamel Gelboliv No 42; it probably needs lightening a little with say, a touch of yellow for a 1:35 scale model. With respect to Gerald I wouldn't describe it as a "grayish green" but more of a brown shade, but as ever we all see colours differently.

If you can't get hold of the Revell colour I would suggest the Tamiya Acrylic Khaki Drab XF-51; in fact, I think this is probably a better shade than the Revell colour and I now use that on my Bundeswehr models.

Jim, Brian is right. Revell Germany has this colour in its range as No. 42 Gelboliv. The German Bundeswehr used Gelboliv from 1955 to the early 1980's when the 3-tone standard camo was applied. If you can't get this paint in the US, try to look for the colour code RAL 6014, that's the correct one.
Here is my recently finished Kanonenjagdpanzer (KanJPz), painted with that Revell 42 but with some grey and green pastel chalk in the end.
