I have come across several photos of OPFOR vehicles at BATUS with markings consisting of a black star within a red rectangle. Presumably this is an 'enemy vehicle' marking, but I am not sure what the emblem is within the star. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

In the center of the black star is the BATUS Medicine Man logo.

It would be fantastic if we could get conversions for the latest version of the Salamander and other CVR-T variants.

Damn, you beat me to it Jason... Did 2 complete Opfor's, so much better being the enemy on the Med man's. More time off in Med Hat, Calgary and Edmonton .. happy days ...
I was going to do a salamander as I have a spare Scimitar kit.

Many thanks for that. The photos I have don't show that particular detail clearly. I'm actually tackling a 1/76-scale Salamander, based on the very old Airfix Scorpion/Scimitar kit. Of course, this kit is of the early CVR(T) vehicle, so a lot of scratch-built refinements are required for this project. Thankfully, I've got the Tankograd 'BATUS' book, which provides some very useful photos of the Salamander.
